LoadKaro ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, mobile applications—including the Shipper App, Driver App, and Adda App for adda owners and fleet operators—and our logistics-related services.
Adda owners and fleet operators. The LoadKaro Adda experience is designed for transport addas and fleet operators who manage drivers and vehicles, participate in bookings and load flow (including verified loads relevant to their network), and use platform tools for trip activity, earnings or wallet-related flows where enabled, and communication between loaders and drivers. Supporting users may receive help in English or Urdu (including Roman Urdu in product copy or notifications where we provide it). This policy applies to personal data processed in connection with those Adda-related features alongside shipper and driver use.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information (the exact items depend on your role and which features you use):
- Account and profile information: Name, email address, mobile number, profile photo, role (e.g. shipper, driver, adda owner or related fleet operator roles), organization or adda identity where applicable, and other details you provide when registering or updating your account.
- Verification and identity: Documents and information submitted for identity or vehicle verification (for example CNIC/NICOP, licence, vehicle registration, business or ownership details) as required for drivers, shippers, adda owners, or fleet/network verification workflows.
- Transaction and booking data: Load and order details, bids and allocations where the product supports them, pickup and delivery addresses, payment-related information (including wallet or payout metadata where enabled), receipts or supporting documents uploaded in the flows, and messages or records related to bookings and fulfilment—including data visible to fleet or adda accounts where the service model allows.
- Fleet and Adda-network data: Information about drivers, vehicles, and assignments linked to an adda or fleet account (such as statuses, approvals, alerts, matching or eligibility fields, and performance or utilisation summaries derived from usage of the platform) when you operate as an adda owner or fleet operator.
- Location data: When you enable location-based features (for example driver tracking or location updates during an active assignment), we may collect device or vehicle location information to operate those features.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, approximate region, browser or app identifiers, operating system type, diagnostics, timestamps, audit or security logs, and similar technical signals when you use our website or apps.
- Push notifications and device identifiers: Data needed to route mobile push alerts (such as vendor-specific device or player identifiers tied to push delivery services) where you grant permission.
- Communications: Records of support requests, in-product messages where available, transactional messages, and—for authentication or operational notices—channels such as WhatsApp (including via WhatsApp Business services), SMS where used, email, or in-app announcements.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage accounts for shippers, drivers, and adda owners or fleet operators, including verification appropriate to each role.
- To operate the logistics marketplace: postings, bids, matching, allocations, fulfilment workflows, disputes or platform communications between users involved in an order—including where an adda or fleet participates in sourcing drivers, loads, trips, payments, or performance-related views supported by the product.
- To send service-related notifications (including load alerts or platform messages), OTPs where we use outbound messaging—for example through WhatsApp Business Platform or other approved channels—or email when used for resets or notices.
- To deliver mobile push notifications when you opt in and when your device provides a valid push token to our notification provider.
- To provide customer support, safety reviews, fraud prevention, and internal operations in English and Urdu (and Roman Urdu where we surface it in product or messages).
- To improve reliability and security, develop features, and analyse usage in aggregated or statistical form.
- To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, and protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in these circumstances:
- Service providers (processors): Trusted vendors who operate parts of our stack under contract—for example hosting and infrastructure, transactional email, WhatsApp messaging (Meta WhatsApp Cloud API/Business Platform), SMS gateways if used for OTP or alerts, mobile push notification delivery (for example OneSignal or successors we disclose in product notices), analytics or diagnostics where deployed, fraud or security tooling, backups, payment or wallet integrations, maps or routing integrations if enabled—and content delivery (CDN) or fonts when you load assets from external domains.
- Other users: As needed to fulfil a booking or collaborative workflow—for example disclosure of relevant contact, identity, vehicle, assignment, or location information among shippers, drivers, and adda or fleet accounts associated with the same load or network.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, regulation, court order, or government request, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect life, health, our rights, or those of other users.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued protection of personal data as required by law.
4. International Processing
Our primary operations are intended for users in Pakistan. Some subprocessors that power messaging, push delivery, cloud hosting, or similar services may process or store data (including technical metadata and message delivery records) in other countries. Where that occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required or permitted by applicable law (such as contractual clauses with vendors). By using the services, you acknowledge that cross-border processing may occur in line with this Policy.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including TLS for data in transit where applicable, access controls, least-privilege administration, segregation of environments where practical, monitoring, and secure infrastructure configurations. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely risk-free; you should use strong passwords, protect OTPs or codes, revoke access on lost devices, and keep credentials confidential.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account stays active or as needed to deliver the features you use—then for backups, auditing, disputes, taxation, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and enforcement of contracts. Retention periods can vary by data category and jurisdiction. You may request deletion subject to lawful exceptions.
7. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law (including Pakistan’s evolving data-protection framework when in force), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, or request portability where technically feasible. To exercise privacy rights or ask questions about this Policy, email support@loadkaro.com. We will respond consistent with governing law.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website relies on cookies or similar technologies for core functions such as logged-in sessions, security (for example CSRF protection), and preferences. We may also load third-party assets (for example JavaScript or CSS from a CDN, or web fonts) that can transmit standard technical logs to those providers pursuant to their terms. Managing or blocking cookies in your browser may limit some functionality.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform may link to external sites or embed third-party services (maps, storefronts for app downloads, payment pages, WhatsApp chats, dialers). This Policy does not govern those destinations; please read their notices before supplying personal information.
10. Children's Privacy
Services are aimed at adults (18+) who can legally contract. If you believe we unknowingly captured a child’s data, contact support@loadkaro.com promptly so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy intermittently to reflect legal, technical, or product changes (such as introducing new integrations or modifying Adda workflows). Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after posting constitutes acknowledgement of material changes consistent with applicable law.
